The Glow Downtown Winter Light Festival is an annual six day event that lights up imaginations with a one-of-a-kind experience. Featuring interactive light displays, art, entertainment, food trucks, and activations in the heart of our downtown core. Since its conception in 2017, Glow has been lighting up those frosty February nights, igniting the community, the economy and the culture of Calgary. Glow is a free family‐friendly festival that welcomes Calgarians of all ages.

Each night, multiple public spaces throughout the downtown core will host an expanded array of installations, projections, theatrical experiences, special performances, and light art commissioned from artists, representing national talent and a variety of industry backgrounds and experience. The festival draws attention to the downtown core as well as the 3000 businesses within the community.
